Kuiil was an Ugnaught who had worked a lifetime to be free of servitude. He came to the out-of-the-way planet of Arvala-7 seeking peace, and worked as a vapor farmer who offered valuable skills to those who could meet his price. IG-11 was an assassin droid and bounty hunter that was destroyed on his mission to collect "The Child." Kuiil later retrieved the droid's body and then repaired and re-programmed him.
