Sharku was an Isengard goblin captain who led Saruman's Warg-riders during the War of the Ring. Sharku lived in the Misty Mountains and acted as a chief of the lesser gangs residing there. He taught them how to tame Wargs and became among the few goblins to master riding the beasts. As captain of the Warg-riders, he was sent by Saruman to hunt down the fleeing Rohirrim. In a fight with Aragorn, Sharku fell off his warg, but the warg continued running and fell off a cliff with Aragorn still tangled on the saddle. He then died from his battle wounds.
