Ahsoka Tano was the Padawan learner to Anakin Skywalker and a hero of the Clone Wars. Alongside Anakin, she grew from headstrong student into a mature leader. As the captain of the 501st, Rex served as second-in-command to General Skywalker, whose bravery and unconventionality in battle he came to share. In addition to being a close friend of Skywalker, he also became friends with Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka and Rex went on to lead the Siege of Mandalore.
