Cham Syndulla, nicknamed The Hammer of Ryloth for his heroics during the Clone Wars, was a Twi'lek who dedicated his life to being a resistance fighter and revolutionary leader during the Clone Wars and the early days of the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Even though Syndulla initially hoped for peace with the Empire, Ryloth fell under Imperial Military occupation, and his wife Eleni Syndulla was killed by the Empire. Syndulla then formed the Free Ryloth Movement to fight back. Numa was a Twi'lek who lived on the planet Ryloth during the Clone Wars. As a youngling, she befriended two Republic clone troopers, "Waxer" and "Boil," during the Separatist invasion. In the years that followed under the reign of the Empire, Numa joined a rebel cell that operated on Ryloth under the command of Cham Syndulla.
