Ezra grew up on Lothal as an orphaned child during the age of the Empire, relying on his street smarts -- and subconscious Force abilities -- to survive. His destiny would change with his introduction to the Ghost crew, a small band of rebels fighting back against the Empire. Kanan, a member of the Ghost crew and former Jedi Padawan, would take Ezra on as his apprentice. They aided the growing Rebel Alliance as they both learned what it truly is to be a Jedi.
