Nien Nunb was a Sullustan arms dealer and smuggler who served in the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Nunb answered the call from a friend to help smuggle a group of Alderaanians off Sullust while avoiding detection from the Galactic Empire. Years later, Nunb returned to Sullust to help liberate it from the Empire. Also an exemplary pilot, he flew with Lando Calrissian in the Millennium Falcon during the Battle of Endor and piloted an X-Wing during the Resistance's strike on Starkiller Base. Shriv Suurgav was a Duros who also served in the Rebel Alliance and the Resistance. During the Galactic Civil War, Shriv participated in the Liberation of Sullust and the Battle of Endor as the leader of Danger Squadron. In the days after the Battle of Endor, Shriv was contacted by Imperial defectors Iden Versio and Del Meeko of Inferno Squad. With Versio and Meeko, Shriv helped end the Imperial attack on Naboo. As friends of Lando and in their service to the Rebellion and Resistance, Nien and Shriv worked together on numerous occasions.
